We emphasize that education in all endeavors, and especially in real estate, leads to improved results for all. As a result, many of the Association’s efforts are devoted to educational programs and seminars. At our general meeting on August 5th, our program will be aimed at showing potential Lenders that they can participate in the very real opportunities that are available in our area, without becoming landlords. It will address the risks involved in loaning to landlords and how to minimize those risks. It will highlight ways to evaluate potential borrowers and will discuss the types of agreements needed to protect both the Lender and Borrower. It will prove that being a Lender to real estate investors can be rewarding. Time will not allow the August program to cover the waterfront for Borrowers, but hearing about and getting a better understanding of what the session covers for Lenders will give Borrowers a leg up, and may help them get to know some of the audience who do have money to lend. In any case, a future program will get into the Borrowers side of the equation. Everyone will benefit from being at the August meeting. The August meeting will be facilitated by Mansa Musa. Mansa has been involved in over 100 "private money" deals as a borrower, lender, and underwriter. Come hear how to successfully and safely lend money to other investors for high returns.
