The Rental Property Owners Association of Michigan is a not-for-profit Michigan corporation made up of 17 rental property owner associations throughout Michigan. The association includes representation from Albion, Bay City, Battle Creek, Big Rapids, Cadillac, Delta County, Detroit, Genesse County, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Livingston, Macomb County, Muskegon County, Oakland, St. Joseph County and Wayne County. These associations represent over 3,200 landlords and investment property owners. The purpose of RPOA-M is to advance the commercial and economic principles of the rental property industry in the State of Michigan through active participation in state legislative activities and lobbying. The RPOA-M now has an office and part-time staff. Volunteers meet monthly in Lansing to review pending legislation and discuss issues which affect the rental property business.
